Instructions for paper submission

The call for papers is to solicit papers for the oral and poster sessions which are designed to be highly interactive.

Full papers (8 or 10 or 12 pages) containing preliminary results may be submitted.

All the necessary files are available as an archive szablonITiB18.zip.

  1. Please read author guidelines in \author_info\typeinst.pdf file (inside the above archive). LaTeX sources of this file are also included. File was downloaded from Springer website (http://www.springer.com/series/4240 → Information for Authors). Additional guidelines for formatting are available in lncs_style_documentation directory and llncsdoc.pdf file, especially sections 2-5 of that file are relevant.
  2. Use file 'llncs.tex' as a template for your work. This is a version of the 'llncs.dem' file downloaded from Springer ftp (http://www.springer.com/series/4240 -> Information for Authors) and adapted for conference needs.
  3. Please note, that llncs style is now used also in "Advances in Intelligent and Soft Computing" series. Also 'llncs.tex' template is identical to used for ITIB 2014, but 'llncs.sty' style is now provided in updated version.
  4. Do not use national characters in affiliations. Replace them by universal macros. For example:
    \k{a} \k{e} for Polish ą, ę (a z ogonkiem, e z ogonkiem),
    \'C \'c ... for ćńóśź (c, n, o, s, z z kreską),
    \.Z \.z for ż Ż (z, z kropką),
    \l{} \L{} for Ł (l z kreską).
  5. Include your graphics as eps or ps files and use latex (not pdflatex) for compilation. You may use e.g. Corel Draw tools or (free) ImageMagick or Gimp to convert bitmaps to eps. Ensure, that your graphics looks well in grayscale. You may include color versions for electronic edition (add COLOR suffix to the filename).
  6. Bibtex styles are provided by LNCS (bibtex directory). Use appropriate to generate bibliography, correct (if necessary) contents of *.bbl file and include generated bibliography inside the TeX file with your submission.
  7. Additional packages are discouraged, but in some situations possible. Please contact us for additional info.
  8. Generate pdf file e.g. using the following commands:
    latex paper.tex
    latex paper.tex
    latex paper.tex
    dvipdf paper.dvi paper.pdf
check its contents and include it in the final submission.
  9. Include all files and generated pdf in 'name_surname.zip' file and upload it using the Conference Service System.
